About
As a sworn translator and court expert at the Court of Appeal of Rennes (Cour d’appel de Rennes), I provide certified translations of official and legal documents from French into Spanish and from Spanish into French. I work for private individuals, legal professionals, companies and public authorities, from my office in Brest.

Documents I translate
I translate and certify, among others:
- civil status records: birth, marriage and death certificates, family record books;
- court decisions and procedural documents;
- notarial deeds: powers of attorney, estates, deeds of sale;
- diplomas, transcripts and university certificates;
- administrative documents and company documents.
I can also assist you with the formalities related to translation: apostille, legalisation, and the specific requirements of French, Spanish and Latin American authorities.

Background
Before devoting myself to translation, I worked as a journalist and then as a director of photography, and I lived in Latin America for 25 years. This experience gave me an in-depth knowledge of the varieties of Latin American Spanish. It is a real asset when translating documents issued in those countries. Trained in audiovisual translation at the University of Strasbourg in 2007, I have rounded off my background with training in court expertise, begun in 2024 and continued every year.
Audiovisual and technical translation
My background in film and imaging also leads me to work in subtitling, voice-over, transcription and technical translation, for clients such as ARRI and the British Council.
